Description

No, there is no explanation. I've had a slight artist's block for a few weeks now, and got my copy of Exposé 6 a few days ago and looked through it and WHOOSH! Inspiration hit.

I had that particular pose in mind from the beginning, but it was tricky to find or shoot a ref, so I pulled out my dusty copy of Poser 6 and (mis)posed a figure, then threw it into Vue d'Esprit 4 and rendered for reference. The result was absolutely godawful and is linked to below, but it was still better than nothing. After that it took 3 days of scribbling with Painter 9 and Wacom Intuos and there you have it, in all its incomprehensible glory.

Great concept - If I were to critique I would have lost the jewelery from the leg - Still - just pickin'!

Thanks for the comments! GFXartist sponsor chili ooh I like that idea. I tried removing it, it felt too empty, but I got rid of the lowest stone in the jewellery and it looks much better now. Thanks! ^^

huge fan of surrealism, it's too bad it seems you've run into a tough crowd to please...I think it's a great escape, and wonderful way to break out of your artblock, and it's so well executed....

lol, the object on her right leg...I can't see what it is and it's killing me..
Otherwise it's a nice idea and neatly executed. Cool :)

Overall, I really like the idea and the execution, but personally, I'd prefer some more colour (or more saturated colours). As always, I understand that this may have been a deliberate and artistic choice -- I'm just saying... ;)

killadore and Elite Andy--Jones it's an ankle bracelet of sorts, in the same style as the one on top of her sleeve.

Realy like shape of the face and body alltogether.
